The country’s first pedestrianised shopping mall, the Curve, was officially launched recently amidst much fanfare.
Located within Mutiara Damansara, the 680,000 sq/ft shopping mall hosts more than 200 speciality shops, 20 designer offices, a boutique hotel and 65 food and beverage outlets.
Owned and developed by Mutiara Rini Sdn Bhd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Boustead Properties Bhd, the Curve’s selling point is its individuality; which includes its unique outdoor dining experience and indoor shopping experience and value-added customer services.
Having already garnered over one million customers,Boustead Holdings Sdn Bhd group managing director Tan Sri Datuk Lodin Wok Kamaruddin said the support has compelled them to further improve the mall’s ‘shoppertainment’ experience.
“At the Curve, we wanted to create an environment that would constantly surprise and stimulate visitors with its vibrant mix of unique retail and entertainment concepts and ever changing activities,” he said.
A recent partnership between the shopping mall and Ambank also saw the launching of the Curve as the nation’s first EPP (Easy Payment Plan) mall.
World-class establishments at the Curve include Borders, Metrojaya’s fashion concept store MJ, IKEA, Tesco and the Cineleisure.
