SNS News : Late Night Xmas Shopping at Suria KLCC

FOR a night only, Suria KLCC will keep its lights on until midnight on Dec 22.

Under the Christmas Late Night Shopping programme, retailers at the shopping mall will extend its business hours from 10pm to midnight with special offers to help customers find their Christmas gift or something to decorate their home.

Those who spend a minimum of RM300 at the shopping mall during the late night shopping period are entitled to participate in the Lucky Dip which offers RM20,000 worth of prizes including 37” and 32” LCD television, MP3 and DVD players.

The more one spends, the better chance of winning the prizes.
“This is the second time we are having the Christmas Late Night Shopping programme and last year's programme was a roaring success,” said Suria KLCC general manager Andrew Brien during a recent interview.

“This is the time when people have a lot to do and we provide them the chance to shop. With every RM300 you spend, you can also redeem cookies, chocolate and other things as nice gifts. You can also buy the Suria Furry Friend teddy bear for RM15.”

He said the proceeds from the teddy bear sale would be channelled to the Down Syndrome Association.

If one spends RM5,000 and above, he will get a free trolley bag and bath robe.

He added that those spending RM300 can have their gifts wrapped at Memory Lane.

Shoppers can also visit the centre court to take a look at the 30m-tall Christmas tree decorated with light bulbs and structures shaped like Santa's reindeers.

A decorative reindeer, which reminds one of Rudolf with his red nose, is placed at the top of the tree with the illusion that it is “flying” towards the sky.

Complementing the tree is the candy and Christmas wonderland to be held around the tree on Dec 15.
Santa Claus impersonator will also be on hand to entertain shoppers
